This is a lovely idea this has inspired me ! I am very often in the forest and lucky enough to live on the edge of an ancient one in the UK.
Happy to read that!! Must be great to live near an ancient forest! I am surrounded by a lot of forest, but most of it is quite managed.
Oh it’s still managed but there are pockets of isolation but particularly at this time of year you can just about reach back and touch the past.
